Biography

Hello everyone, my name is Nathan Andrew. This is my third semester at Phoenix college. I used to be a piano performance major at Glendale College, then a psychology major, but I have found myself to be far more successful since I transferred and changed paths. This is my first semester in the S-STEM program and I am totally unsure of what to expect, but super excited about the opportunity! I grew up here in Phoenix, AZ, and someday I'm going to get out of here because I am absolutely disgusted by how hot it gets here. It's unnecessary! have always been interested in science related fields and medicine, but lacked the confidence to try and pursue anything serious until recently when I decided I would just give Anatomy and Physiology a try just because. I give a special thanks to my former teacher, Anil Kapoor, who through his passion for science, positive attitude, and faith in his students, cultivated my own scientific interests.  I'm now married and have a 1 year old son who means the world to me and is the main reason why I am finally getting my life in order, although I still have a long way to go. I am super excited to discover what I can offer this world and I'm hoping this program will help me get there.
